Calvin "Heavy" Joseph LeMoine

Calvin "Heavy" Joseph LeMoine, age 67, a native of Lutcher and resident of Houma, La., passed away on WEdnesday, March 5, 2025.

Heavy is survived by his wife, Lori LeMoine; his son, Brent Chauvin and his partner Andrew Babin of Panama City Beach, FL; his daughter, Krista Chauvin and her wife Staci Silva-Chauvin of Covington, LA.; his brothers, Michael "Mickey" LeMoine, Dave "Smoke" LeMoine, Ronnie LeMoine and Steven "Buggy" LeMoine; and his sisters, Mona Martin and Jody LeMoine.

Heavy was preceded in passing by his parents, Herman M. LeMoine and Jeanette Perque LeMoine; and his sister, Patricia LeMoine.

Private Services were held by the family.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Calvin "Heavy" Lemoine, a beloved husband, father, and friend. He blessed our lives with his kindness, love, and unwavering devotion. He was the best husband and father a wife and children could ask for-a man of strength, wisdom, and unconditional love.

Calvin's generosity and selflessness knew no bounds. He was a cherished part of our family's history and legacy, always making those around him feel valued and respected. A pillar of strength and warmth, he treated everyone with kindness and made every moment together meaningful.

Though taken from us too soon by a vicious lung disease, he is now free from suffering, reunited with the loved ones who have gone before him. His memory will forever live on in our hearts, as we honor the love, laughter, and lessons he shared with us.

Calvin will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
