Brian Anthony Authement

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Anthony Authement, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who departed this life on March 13, 2025, in his hometown of Houma, Louisiana. Born on April 19, 1952, Brian lived a full life, rich with love, laughter, and adventure.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service at Chauvin Funeral Home Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.

Brian is survived by his wife Angela Savoie Authement; his sons, Jason Authement (Joy) and Tyler Authement; his daughter, Melissa Authement; his grandchildren, Hannah Chaisson (Jackie), Kiera Authement, Hayes Authement, Brylan Authement and Leezah Authement; his great-grandsons, Kelian Chaisson and Malakai Chaisson; his two brothers, Leroy Authement, Jr. (Belinda) and Michael Authement; his sisters, Christine Rodrigue (Russell), Odette Teter and Angela Rink (Greg); his father-in-law, Murphy Savoie, Sr.; and his dogs, Jolie and Fiona.

Brian was preceded in passing by his parents, Leroy Authement, Sr. and Theresa Dupre Authement; his brothers, Patrick Authement, Jerome Authement and Avery Authement; his sister, Catherine Authement; and his mother-in-law, Martha Savoie.

Brian dedicated over 30 years of his life to the offshore production industry, with 27 of those years spent proudly working with Unocal. His unwavering commitment to his career and colleagues spoke to his strong work ethic and loyalty.

Outside of work, Brian found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman, a passionate hunter, and a golf enthusiast, often cherishing these pastimes with family and friends. His laughter, stories, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten
