Brenda Jackson

Brenda Marie Thomas Jackson, 72, a native and resident of Houma, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at 1:21 PM.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a celebration of Brenda’s life on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 6:00pm until memorial service time at 8:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home.  Following the services, the family will respect and fulfill her final wishes in a private ceremony.

Brenda is survived by her daughters Denise Jackson and Brandy Jackson; grandson, Austin Jackson; sister, Myrna Millard and brothers, Joe Thomas, Jim Thomas and Bill Thomas.

Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Paul Jackson; son, Jessie Boyd Jackson; her parents John Boyd Thomas and Marion Rouen Thomas and sister Barbara Thomas Smith.

Brenda was a gem of a woman who has been a pillar of strength, love and unity for our family her entire life. She will be forever loved and remembered by all whose lives she touched.
