Brad Paul Duplantis

Brad Paul Duplantis, 53, a native and resident of Houma, passed away at 8:30AM on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 after a lengthy battle with kidney disease.

Brad was quick-witted, good-natured, and never met a stranger. He had a fierce competitiveness and enthusiasm for both LSU football and fantasy sports. He was always surrounded by fun and never turned down a good card game or concert. Brad will be remembered for his love for his friends and family, the luckiest of which were both friends and family. His love for others was matched only by their love for him.

Brad is survived by his mother Irma Boudreaux Duplantis, love of his life Grace Davis Lina, Joshua Lina whom he loved as a son, brother Bryan (Stephanie) Duplantis of Midland, TX, brother Craig Duplantis of Houma, sister Lynette Duplantis of Houma, a nephew, and four nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Irving Paul Duplantis, Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 16th at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00. Father Jim Morrison will officiate.
