Bonnie Jean Scott McCarthy, age 64, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. She was a native and resident of Chauvin, LA.

Bonnie is survived by her sons, Carliss McCarthy, Jr. and wife, Natasha, Craig Michael McCarthy and companion, Nicole Breaux, and Brett Michael Oubre; daughter, Jennifer McCarthy Naquin and husband, Lee; daughter-in-law, Mandy; brother, Kevin Scott and wife, Tammy; sisters, Brenda Bryan and husband, Hampton, Dianne Naquin and husband, Ray, Cathy Darcey and husband, Nolan Sr., and Maxine Trahan and husband, Wayne “Pippy”; sister-in-law, Kathy Scott; grandchildren, Kellie “Toots” Lapeyrouse, Lee Naquin, Jr., Mylie Naquin, Caleb "Bonehead" McCarthy, Desiree Bourg, David Bourg III, Daisha Bourg, Bethany McCarthy and Lexy McCarthy.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Norris Joseph and Marie Louise Brunet Scott; son, Chad McCarthy; brother, Nolan J. Scott; sisters, Janis Dubois Voisin and Sylvia Scott.
