Bobby Jones

 Bobby Butler Jones, 79, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at 5:46PM. He was a native of Monroe, LA and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at Christ Baptist Church in Houma, LA on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 9:00AM until service time. Funeral services will begin after visitation at 11:00AM with burial to follow in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Dianne Floyd Jones; son, Kenneth Wayne Jones and fiancé Tanuel Mabe; daughter, Kimberly Jones Chruma and husband Douglas Chruma; grandchildren, Lacee Chruma Cavalier and husband Britt Cavalier, and Sophia Cassidy Jones; and great grandchildren, Rowan Cavalier, Lucy Cavalier, and baby boy Cavalier expected arrival August 2018.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Butler Jones and Mattie Hammond Jones; one half brothers and two half sisters.

Bobby was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, sports and watching the New Orleans Saints, LSU Tigers and New Orleans Pelicans. Bobby enjoyed spending his free time with his family and friends; whom he loved dearly.

The family would like to thank the staff of Stat Home Health, T.G.M.C. , Dr. Craig Wade, Dr. Russell Henry, and Nurse Christina Allen.
