Beverly Scheffler

Beverly Marie LeBouef Scheffler, lovingly known as “Babes”, departed this life surrounded by her loving daughter and family on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 12:09am. Beverly was 79 years young.

The family will hold a private memorial service.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband of sixty-one years, Charles Scheffler Sr.; daughter, Billie Scheffler Duplantis; son, Charles “Chuck” Scheffler Jr.; brother, Herman LeBouef and wife Drew; sister, Priscilla LeBouef; grandchildren, Lauren Scheffler, Dylan Duplantis, and Adam Scheffler and his fiancée Savannah Toups; great grandchildren, Adaleigh and Eilan Cotton; and Godchild, Dawn Armstrong.  

Beverly is preceded in passing by her parents, Freddie and Amanda Ford LeBouef; her loving brother, Wilmer “Buddy” LeBouef; and infant sister, Elizabeth LeBouef.

Beverly was a devoted wife, and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved immensely and always had a smile on her face.

She loved to solve puzzles, cross stitch and spend time with her family and friends. Her ultimate pleasure was to spend time on the beach.

She was loved by all and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

The family would like to thank STAT Homecare, and the ER and ICU staff at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.
