Betty Breaux

Betty Jean Breaux, age 70, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 21, 2022. She was a native of Houma and a resident of Gibson, LA.

Betty is survived by her son, Brad James Guillory; brothers, Daniel Breaux and wife, Judy, Harry Breaux and wife, Marylou, Claude Breaux Jr. and wife, Sandra, and Steve Breaux and wife, Gail; sisters, Hilda B. Matherne and husband, Kenneth, and Tammy M. Breaux; grandchildren, Christopher P. Babin, Nicole M. Babin, Jasmine O. Guillory, and Heather R. Guillory; and great-grandchildren, A'Miyah K. and Cassius K. Babin.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Joseph Sr. and Mary Augustine Buquet Breaux; daughter, Angela Elizabeth Babin; and sister, Maryann B. Pate and husband, Wendell.

Betty was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all whose hearts she touched.
