Bernie Kosior

Bernie Martin Kosior, 73, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 9:57PM. Visitation will begin at 9:00AM Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will follow at 12:00PM with services concluding afterwards. Bernie is survived by his; daughter Dawn Armstrong and husband Douglas Armstrong, grand-daughter Emerson and grandson Evan, brother Ricky Kosior and long-time companion Liz M. LeBlanc, sister Mary K. Cherry and husband Charles, nephews Mark Kosior and Jesse Kosior, Sam Cherry and niece Katherine Cherry, former wife Priscilla LeBoeuf, and sister-in-law Jan M. Kosior. Bernie is preceded in death by his parents Bronislaw A. Kosior and Doris Meaux Kosior and brother Paul J. Kosior. Bernie loved his family and his many friends. He was an avid New Orleans Saints, LSU and NASCAR fan and was particularly fond of Dale Earnhardt Sr. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society.
