Bernice and Claude Ledet were lifelong residents of Houma, LA and lived in Broadmoor subdivision for more than sixty years. As devout and dedicated Catholics, they were the founding parishioners of St. Bernadette Church and St. Bernadette School. Bernice often spoke fondly of her days when she served as a deputized crossing guard for the school. Overall, her joy was family. Her church family and her own personal family truly filled her heart and soul.
The family extends gratitude and loving appreciation to Journey Hospice, and more importantly Callie Seago Thiac for the compassionate care in Bernice’s final days of life. In addition, the family extends a very heart felt admiration to David and Diana Ledet with whom Bernice resided for the last two years of her life. With their unwavering care, Bernice was surrounded by constand love and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to recite a decade of the rosary in Bernice’s name. She so loved the Lord and would consider nothing more meaningful than this offering.
