Benny Rhodes

Benny John Rhodes, a native of Houma and resident of Schriever peacefully passed away September 23, 2021.  He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 47 years, Patty; his daughter Casie Thibodeaux (Jonny) his daughter Kelly Stoffel (Will) his son Dusty Rhodes; his grandchildren: Cadence, Raye, Anderson and William; and his sister Darline Rhodes.

Benny is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Eula Rhodes.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial at Chauvin Funeral Home Saturday October 2, 2021 from 1:30 PM until service time at 2:30 PM. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Benny was a 1971 graduate of South Terrebonne High School. He was a member of the STHS Gator Club and spent many years helping with fundraising events.  He spent many years as a coach and youth minister for Annunziata Catholic Church. He was the former owner of Southern Sheet Metal and Duct Fab. He was a friend to everyone who knew him. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching football, history, science, music and visiting with people. He was known for his huge heart, his Cajun sense of humor, and his love of Jesus Christ.  He believed in hard work and family.  He will be forever missed by everyone who loved him. He impacted so many lives just by being himself.
