Bart Guidry

Bart James Guidry, age 53, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. Bart was a native and resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral on Monday, February 8, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Due to COVID 19 and the CDC rules, masks are to be worn at all times and social distancing should be practiced.

Bart is survived by his mother, Bernita Thibodaux Guidry; brother, Clint Guidry and wife Laura; sister, April Guidry Sins and husband Chris; nieces, Emma Guidry and Farrah Sins; nephews, Brady Sins and Michael Guidry II.

Bart is preceded in death by his father, Michael Ray Guidry; maternal grandparents, Mack and Emma Thibodaux; paternal grandparents, Ray and Claire Lehman Guidry.

Bart was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He adored his nieces and nephews, enjoyed spending time with them. Bart loved to travel, visit casinos, and was an avid gamer. Anyone who knew him, knew he was fascinated with Corvettes and was a member of the Corvette club. Bart enjoyed working alongside his co-workers installing commercial alarms. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and he is now reunited with his Dad and rests in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
