Barry Naquin

Barry Paul Naquin, 66, a native of Pointe Aux Chenes and a resident of Conroe, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. Barry is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Roanna "Peanut" Kern Naquin; sons, Jason M. Naquin, Jared P. Naquin and partner, Stephanie. He is also survived by his father, Royce J. Naquin; sister, Jacqueline M. Duthu and her husband, Mark; brother, Jody P. Naquin and wife, Lauren; his three grandchildren, Ethan, Jaelyn and Cason; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Dufresne Naquin; and grandparents, Butler Jerome and Mable Neal Naquin, Levy Dufresne and Dorisia Dupre Dufresne. Barry was a people person and never met a stranger, which made his career with Woodmen of the World both successful and enjoyable for nearly 40 years. A memorial service will also be held in his honor at Chauvin Funeral Home, 5899 LA-311, Houma. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., services to immediately follow.
