Barbara, age 75, passed away surrounded by her loving family on September 13, 2017. She was a native of Crowley and a resident of Houma. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary on Monday, September 18, 2017 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Barbara is survived by her children, Lisa Landry (Ricky), Mary Morrison (Michael), Simon LeBlanc, Clair Talbot (Dennis), Andrew "James" LeBlanc, Sr. (Jessica); fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Marjorie Guidry, Rose Benoit, Patricia Ybarra, sister-in-law, Ethel Hebert, numerous nieces and nephews; beloved best friend, Betty Dauzat; and beloved dog Chico Barbara is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Lawrence LeBlanc; parents, Patrick and Ruth (Broussard) Hebert; son, Patrick Wiley LeBlanc; two granddaughters; one great granddaughter; sister, Janelle “Jan” Hebert; brothers, Merlin Hebert, Sr. and Dale Hebert. Barbara was a loving, kind, and gentle person with a beautiful soul. She was never without a smile. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, watching movies and spending quality time with her family and friends. She was married to her soulmate, Lawrence LeBlanc, for fifty-seven years.
