Barbara Scott Falgout, 75, a native and resident of Houma died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2021.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Magnolia Chapel of Chauvin Funeral Home on Monday, April 19, 2021 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The Liturgy of the Word Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Falgout McKey (Carroll) and Kelly Falgout Kraemer (Shawn), both of Houma; two sisters, Eula Scott Hughes (Edward) of Bourg and Rhonda Scott Daigle (Sam) of Houma; one sister-in-law, Carlen Robertson Scott of Houma; and three grandchildren, Meghan Elizabeth Trahan, Katie Marie Kraemer, and Shane Anthony Kraemer, all of Houma.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Peter Ruffin Falgout; her son, Ricky Peter Falgout; her father, Joseph Ruby Scott; her mother, Nell LeBouef Scott; and her brother, Nathan James Scott.
Barbara was an artist at heart and a lover of family history. She was most comfortable among her family enjoying life’s simple things.
