Audrey Turner

Audrey Ordoyne Turner, aged 86 years, a native of Cut Off, LA and resident of Lockport, LA. earned her heavenly wings on Tuesday December 20, 2022. 

A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on Saturday, January 28, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Victory Life Church “Rockatorium.” A meet and eat will follow at Community Fellowship Church at 901 Barataria St. in Lockport, La.

Audrey is survived by her sons, John Bourgeois, Sr. and wife Cindy, Richard “Dickie” Bourgeois and fiancé Rose Toups; Daughter, Lisa B. Alario and husband Timmy; Grandchildren, Clint Foret and wife June, Christina Bourgeois and fiancé Shannon, John Bourgeois Jr. and wife Jessica, Derrik Hebert and fiancé Lizzie, Troy Bourgeois and fiancé Chelsey, Tyler Alario and wife Breah, Toby Bourgeois, Chelsea Alario and fiancé Eduardo; Great grandchildren, William, Ashton, Chloe, David, Jenna, Owen, Kayden, Eden, Zachary, Matthew, Sawyer, Emma, Alizah and Karaa. Brother, Richard Ordoyne and wife Kathleen; sister, Laura Strevig and late husband Rodney; step-sons, Michael “Mike” Turner and Marty Turner; daughter-in-law, Monica B. Parks; Numerous nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard A. Bourgeois, and second husband Buddy W. Turner; Daughter, Marie B. Foret and son David Bourgeois; Brother, Claude Ordoyne Jr.; parents, Claude (Moustique) Ordoyne Sr., and Vernice Savoie Ordoyne; stepson, Melvin Turner; and her fur baby Tee Doe.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt and warm thanks to Hope Hospice, Dr. Mike Marcello, and all other healthcare givers who assisted in Audrey’s care making final days peaceful and comforting.  Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Turner Family.
