Antoinette LeBoeuf

February 20, 1943 — September 23, 2018

Antoinette Pitre LeBoeuf, age 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 23, 2018. She was a longtime resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at St. Louis Catholic Church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Antoinette is survived by her daughters, Shenna L. Magallanes and husband, Manuel, Gwen L. Medice, Belinda L. Scrimpshire, and Mary L. Handel and husband, David; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Julius Pitre, Gary Pitre, and Jared Pitre; sisters, Dorothy Pitre, Rosemary Guerrero, Katherine Trahan, Margaret Trosclair.

Antoinette is preceded in death by her parents, Obery and Yvonne Liner Pitre; Antoinette’s husband of 56 years, Clifford J. LeBoeuf, Sr.; son, Clifford J. LeBoeuf, Jr.; daughter, Rosara LeBoeuf; brother, Clyde Pitre; two son-in-law’s, Curtis Randy Scrimpshire, Joseph Medice, Jr.

Antoinette’s heart was too big for this world. Her Lord has taken her home and she is now reunited with her family and rests in the arms of her Lord and Savior. Antoinette was a loving, caring, and compassionate mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother. She loved and prayed for everyone. She also would donate to many charities especially those who cared for children. Antoinette walked by faith and not by sight. Through her love of Christ, she now has an eternal home. She will be dearly missed by all she blessed.
