Anthony Nettleton, Sr.

Anthony Paul Nettleton, Sr., passed away Monday June 28, 2021. He was a native and longtime resident of Montegut, La.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home Friday July 2, 2021 from 11:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Bisland Cemetery in Bourg, La.

Anthony is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lourie Nettleton; sons, Anthony Nettleton, Jr. “TJ”, Leroy Nettleton; grandchildren, Anthony Paul Nettleton, III, Blake Michael Nettleton, Coby Joseph Nettleton, Ciara Lynn Nettleton, Isaac Lee Nettleton, Emilee Grace Nettleton; brothers, Norris Nettleton, Jr., Jerry Nettleton, Sr., Clinton Molinere, Jr. (Wendy), Timothy Molinere, Sr. (Terese); sisters, Karie Gregoire (John), Kandace Best (Lee).

Anthony is preceded in death by his parents, Norris and Gertie Nettleton; daughter, Brandi Lynn Nettleton; brothers, Leroy Nettleton, Larry Nettleton, Terry Nettleton, Kary Nettleton; sisters, Kay Hebert, Shirley Naquin.

Anthony was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Anthony enjoyed shrimping, fishing, duck hunting and playing the drums. He enjoyed cooking for his family especially any seafood. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family would like to thank the ICU at Chabert Medical for all their care and attention.
