Annie Mae Theriot

October 14, 1930 — June 18, 2017

Annie Mae Theriot, age 86 passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifetime resident of Theriot, Louisiana.               Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the Magnolia Chapel on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery. Annie Mae is survived by her husband of 68years, Junior Theriot; sons, Anthony “Yankee” Theriot and wife, Annabell, Wayne Theriot and wife Lynn, Danny Theriot and wife, Serina; daughters, Marilyn Merritt and husband Billy, Edwina Courteaux and husband Jimmy; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren; brother, Bradford Lovell; sisters, Carol, Glenda, Linda, Patricia, and Doloris “Glo”. Annie Mae is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Nora DeHart Lovell; brothers, Leroy, Atlas, L.J., and Paul Lovell; sisters, Ruby, Mavis, Jacinthia, Ruth, and Eula Mae. Annie Mae was loving, caring, compassionate and loving wife to her husband Junior for sixty-eight years, they married on June 12, 1949. Together they began their journey and were blessed with a beautiful family. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great and great great-grandmother. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a wonderful cook, she loved to garden, sew, quilting, and fishing. She was a friend to all who knew her but most of all, she was an Angel in disguise. She served her Lord and blessed many of her community friends. Annie Mae grew her Angel wings and now rests in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The family would like to thank the staff at Terrebonne General Medical Center especially the Doctors and staff nurses at the CCU department.
