It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Mae LeBoeuf, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who departed this life on March 20, 2025, in her hometown of Houma, Louisiana. Born on October 26, 1930, Anna lived a life marked by love, kindness, and dedication to her family.
Anna will be remembered for her sweet and gentle spirit. She cherished every moment spent with her family, always eager to visit and share in their lives. She was very proud of her sons and wanted all to know how much she loved them. Her meticulous nature complemented her warmth, and anyone fortunate enough to know her could attest to her thoughtful attention to detail, especially when it came to her hair, which she took great pride in.
In her younger days, Anna enjoyed expressing her creativity through crochet and embroidery, skills that brought joy to her family members through the beautiful pieces she created. She had a particular fondness for the color purple, a hue that reflected her vibrant personality. Anna also shared a special bond with her beloved cat, Chloe, who provided her with companionship throughout the years. Anna Mae was an amazing mother and enjoyed her time with her family, she was always in control of preparing the food for them throughout their fishing trips. She thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings specifically Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Anna is survived by her sons, Barry LeBoeuf and companion Donna Collins, Ricky LeBoeuf and wife Christy; grandson, Anthony LeBoeuf and wife April, Kayden LeBoeuf and companion Hailie Ledet; great granddaughter, Jessielynn LeBoeuf who carries forward her legacy of love and kindness.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband with over 50 years of marriage Earl LeBoeuf; parents, Camille Benoit and Corinne Benoit; siblings, Margaret Boudreaux, Rita Soudelier, and Terrin Benoit.
A public viewing will be held at Chauvin Funeral Home on Sunday, March 23, 2025 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and will resume on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church, followed by a funeral service at the same location beginning at 11:00 AM. Anna will be laid to rest following the service in the church cemetery.
Her family invites all who knew and loved Anna to join them in celebrating her life and the joy she brought to those around her. In honoring her memory, we remember a beautiful soul who will be deeply missed but forever cherished in our hearts.
