Anna LeBlanc

Anna Mae Pellegrin LeBlanc, age 82 passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 8:31 pm. She was a native and a resident of Chauvin, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 9:15 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15 am. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery. Anna is survived by her son, Carl (Cindy) LeBlanc; daughters, Romona Picou, and Vickie Bradley; brother, Julius Pellegrin; sisters, Rita Clement; son-in-law, Wayne Lirette; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.  Anna was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Elward “Doll” Joseph LeBlanc; daughters, Cynthia Lirette and Tammy Trahan; parents, John and Margaret Dubois Pellegrin; brothers, Eddie, Lee and Andy Pellegrin; sisters, Josephine Pellegrin, Clothilder Boudlouche, Inez Henry, Maria Thibodaux, Eva Trahan, Ada Pellegrin and Agnes Foret. Anna was also known by many as Old Granny. She enjoyed going to the Casino, eating out and watching TV. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all knew her.
