Amos "Pat" Crabtree, Sr.

Amos “Pat” Crabtree, Sr., age 84 passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11:20 p.m. surrounded by his loving family. Pat was a native of Harvey and resident of Houma. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral service will be at 12:00 noon at the funeral home with burial in Rogers Cemetery. Pat is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jennie Savoie Crabtree; son, Amos H. Crabtree, Jr. and wife Breni of Metairie, La.; daughters, Karen Thibodeaux and husband Mark of Schriever, La., Carla Katz and husband Gene of Chalmette, La., Patricia Hebert and Sue Ellen Portier and husband Blair of Houma, La. and Luana Velez, Jr., and husband Harold of Slidell, La.; brother, Philip Crabtree; and sister, Linda Miline; 19 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Pat is preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Hilda Savoie Crabtree; Son-in-Law, Danny Hebert; brothers, William and Charles Crabtree; step-brother, Gordie Smith, sisters, Hilda “Marie” Ledet, Juanita Robertson, and Amie Ackerman. Pat was a member of the Jerusalem Temple of Shriners of Houma, Baton Rouge Consistory and Masonic Unity Lodge 267. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Crabtree family.
