Ambrose Anthony Thibodaux, aged 73 years, a native and resident of Houma passed away Thursday May 31,2018 at 9:44 PM.
Visitation will be held on Monday June 4, 2018 in the Chapel Magnolia of Chauvin Funeral Home from 9 AM until Liturgy of the Word at 11 AM. Masonic services will be at 10 AM. Interment will take place in Holmes Cemetery, Talisheek, Louisiana.
Mr. Ambrose is survived by his wife of 4 years, Rita Jan “RJ” Thibodaux. SON: Willard “Will” R. Thibodaux, and the son of his heart, Herbert Fitch. DAUGHTERS: Amanda T. Guerrero and husband Miguel “Mickey” Guerrero. STEP-DAUGHTER: Victoria Christine Gulley. BROTHERS: Herbert and Albert Thibodaux. SISTERS: Lillian T. Firmature, Bernita T. Guidry, Gayle T. Naquin, Jeanne T. Carrere and Susan T. Gautreaux. GRANDCHILDREN: Andres’ Guerrero and wife Britteny, Alison Guerrero and STEP-GRANDCHILDREN: Justin Guerrero, Shay and Jamie Gulley.
He was preceded in death by his first wife: Patricia “Patsy” Parker Thibodaux. SON: William “Joey” Thibodaux, BROTHER: Eddie Thibodaux and SISTERS: Sadie Thibodaux and Julie T. Lirette. PARENTS: Mack and Emma Prevost Thibodaux.
Mr. Ambrose worked in the oilfield industry most of his life and was very diverse in oilfield applications. He was a member of Walter I. Lenier Masonic Lodge #307, Thibodaux, LA and was also Supreme Council District Deputy for the State of Louisiana for the Grottos of North America, and past Monarch of KaJon Grotto
