It is with heavy hearts that the family of Allie Paul Picou, 84, announces his passing on April 26, 2022, into his Heavenly Father’s kingdom.
Allie is survived by his children, Blair, Blaine, Celeste (Blaine), and Courtney; grandchildren, Trent, Jai, and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Allie and Aliza; as well as numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Champagne Picou; son, Kimberly Picou; parents, Denecia Leco Picou and Joseph Picou; siblings, Marie L. Quebedeaux (Gus), Gloria Scott (Nolan), Roy LaCoubon, Nollie Picou, and Celina LeBoeuf (Raymond).
Allie was a Navy veteran, worked in the oil field and self-employed traveler. He enjoyed being on the water, fishing, hunting, and enjoying friends and family-especially playing Boray and video. He couldn’t sit too long and was always on the go. He will be dearly missed by all those who had the honor to know and love him.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Haydel Memorial Hospice, Dr. M. Watkins, Belinda and Addy Solet, and Rometa and Jeremy Duplantis.
