Allen J. Estay, 67, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Dulac, has gone to spend all of eternity with the love of his life (Lou J. Estay) on December 5, 2018.
He is survived by his 2 daughters, Shanna “Scoop” M. Estay (Shaun) and Dawn “Dee” Estay Voisin (Barry); 5 granddaughters, Kiarra “Kiki” and Rhianna “RhiRhi” Little, Jillian “Chicky Lou”, Izabella “BooBoo” and Elliana “LouBug” Voisin; brother, Wayne Estay (Donna); 3 sisters, Toni Estay Cheramie (Butch), Terri Estay and Tammy Estay; mother-in-law, Louverda T. Jackson Ledet; and numerous family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lou J. Estay; parents, Antoine "Tan" Estay and Patsy Ory Estay; sister, Janice Estay Steele; father-in-law, Norvel P. Jackson, Sr. and step-father-in-law, Leroy "Bad Grass" Ledet.
Allen was the owner of Bluewater Shrimp Co. and numerous other businesses for over 40 years. He was an avid LSU fan, hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed traveling with family and friends. He took great pleasure in spending time with his grand children and sharing his love of hunting and fishing with them.
His love of The MACALLAN’s 18 year old scotch was only surpassed by his love for his family, so when you think of him, don’t be sad, remember the life he lead was full of adventure and love and he had no regrets, so smile at the memories you made with him and have a final… final…final in his honor.
A celebration of life memorial will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Houma, LA.
In lieu of flowers, Allen's final wishes were - Vote Trump 2020.
