Alexander Sellers, Jr.

Alexander Milton Sellers Jr., age 67, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Alexander is survived by his mother, Lucindia “Marie” Leader Sellers; sisters, Susan Mahler Oncale and husband, Dennis, and Lucinda G. Sellers; son, Brad McCary and wife, Alisa; grandchildren, Jacob and Kate McCary.

Alexander was preceded in death by his father, Alexander Milton Sellers Sr.

Al was a member of the Church of Christ in Lafayette.  He was born in Houma and lived most of his life in Lafayette, LA. He graduated from Lafayette High School in 1972. He graduated for the University of Southwestern Louisiana (ULL) with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. He was an avid musician and artist.
