Alcide Joseph ”Santa Clause” Boudwin, aged 66 years, a native and resident of Houma died Wednesday November 9,2017 at 6:44 PM Visitation will be held Tuesday November 14,2017 in the Magnolia Chapel of Chauvin Funeral Home from 4 PM until 9PM and Wednesday at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church from 9 AM until Mass time at 11 AM. Burial to follow in church cemetery. Mr. Boudwin is survived by his wife of 46 years, Frances Verret Boudwin, his daughter Lori and husband John (Little Jr.) Elderton; Brothers, Horace and wife Belinda, Ray & wife Wendy, and Joseph and wife Juanita Boudoin, 7 step-brothers and 4 step sisters. Grandchildren Tiffany Boudwin and companion Brauk Lirette, Donovan Neal and Dusty Elderton and great-grandchildren Russell and Natalie Guidry and Brauklyn Lirette, Brother and Sister in Law, Sidney Scott and Doris Scott, and dearest friend, Dodie and German Garcia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph J. and Florence S. Boudoin Guidry, and brother, Tony Boudoin and Grandmother (Momma) Evelyn Liner Scott and husband Oris Scott. Mr. Alcide was a commercial fisherman who loved fishing, bingo, cooking, and attending to his wife. He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Parish and enjoyed the company of family and friends, of whom he had many. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Boudwin family.
