Albert “Bee” Paul Trahan, 97, passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 25, 2020. “Bee”, also known as “Hoss” was a native and resident of Houma, LA.
Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a Visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home beginning on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 9:00am until 10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma, LA on Tuesday at 11:00am. Burial will follow services in the church cemetery.
Albert is survived by his son, Perry Trahan and fiance’ Lisa Pierce; brother, Roy Trahan; sisters, Alice LeBoeuf, Betty Pontiff, Judy Yawn, grandchildren, Cheryl Degruise, Brent Trahan, Jeremy Trahan, Steven Trahan, Joey Trahan; and numerous great grandchildren.
Albert is preceded in death by his loving wife, Velma Trahan; son, Albert Joseph Trahan; parents, Loveless Trahan and Bernice Favre Trahan; brothers, Alvin Trahan, Wilbert Trahan, George Trahan, Ray Trahan, Raymond Trahan; sister, Pearl Conner; grand-daughter, Julia Trahan; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Trahan.
Albert was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and proudly served his country during World War II. He was wounded twice while serving in the Pacific and received a Purple Heart for his meritorious service.
Albert enjoyed fishing, trawling, and gardening. Albert was a man of good character who had a vibrant sense of humor.
Albert was strong in his Catholic Faith and had a devotion to the Most Holy Rosary.
Albert loved most of all, spending time with his family; whom he loved very much. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Never forgotten; but always and forever loved.
For the protection of family and guest and due to Covid-19 and CDC mandates; face mask are required and mandatory while attending visitation and services.
