Aaron Simoneaux

Aaron Joseph Simoneaux, age 57, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 4:50 p.m. He was a native of Montegut and a resident of Chauvin, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, December 11, 2020 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.

We will be following COVID-19 restrictions regarding social distancing and face masks will be required.

Aaron is survived by his wife of 35 years, Tammy White Simoneaux; daughter, Sherrie Simoneaux  LeCompte and husband, Derrick; granddaughter, Baylee Rose LeCompte; mother, Delora Bourg Simoneaux; brothers, Norton, Dale, Thomas and wife, Staci Simoneaux; sister, Debra Duet and husband, Dula; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Aaron is preceded in death by his father, Darby Joseph Simoneaux, Jr.; brothers, Darby III, and Ronnie Simoneaux; in-laws, Linton Jr. and Rosima Naquin White.

Aaron was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, shooting pool, traveling with family and friends, and most of all spending time with his granddaughter, Baylee Rose. He will be dearly missed by all whose hearts he touched. In lieu of flowers donations to assist with final medical expenses are appreciated.
