Vivian Marie Rhodes Boquet, 86, a native of Montegut and resident of Bourg, died at 3:50 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Montegut Fire Station and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by four sons, Mike Boquet and wife, Marion, Anthony "Tony" Boquet and wife, Cheryl, of Houma, Alton Boquet Jr. and wife, Donna, of Bourg and Danny Boquet and wife, Karla, of Houma; two daughters, Lillie B. Chauvin and husband, Douglas, and Betty B. Lyons and husband, Leonard, of Bourg; three sisters, Lillian R. Naquin of Houma, Anna Lee R. Price and Rita Cargill of Bourg; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton J. Boquet Sr.; her parents, Gustave Rhodes and Amanda Guidry Rhodes; one granddaughter, Mary Beth Chauvin; one grandson, Michael Boquet Jr.; one great-grandson, James Michael Calogero; three brothers, Thomas, Hancile and Oneil Rhodes; and two sisters, Myrtile Rhodes and Elodie Bartel.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
