Joyal Robichaux Sr., 78, a native of Morgan City and resident of Houma, died at 1:13 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007.
Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by two sons, Joyal Robichaux Jr. and wife, Angela, and Michael Robichaux of Houma; two daughters, Darlene Thibodeaux of Duscon and Wendy Bourdier of Houma; three sisters, Edna Ball of Houma, Sister Fatima "Catherine" Robichaux, M.S.C., and Bernadine Tooley of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Robichaux and Irene Michel Robichaux; one brother, Bernard Robichaux; and one sister, Marion Rhodes.
He was a retired pumper with Texaco and was in the U.S. Army Air Corps during the Korean War.
