Yolande "Teenie" Benoit Thibodeaux

Yolande "Teenie" Benoit Thibodeaux, 70, a native and resident of Houma, died at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Frances de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by two sons, John Joseph Thibodeaux and wife, Cheryl, and Ron Michael Thibodeaux of Houma; one daughter, Terry Ann Hebert and husband, Carl, of Houma; two brothers, Nuel and Chris Benoit of Houma; three sisters, Patricia B. Baio of Houston, Elsie B. Bienvenu of Houma and Cassandra B. Ledet of Tampa, Fla.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Luke Thibodeaux; her parents, Nuel Benoit Sr. and Elsie Kaul Benoit; one grandson, Micheal J. Thibodeaux; and one sister, Dorothy B. Bergeron. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
