Eddie "Bubba" Andrew Brunet Jr., 57, a native of Montegut and resident of Houma, died at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007.
Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Religious service will be at noon Monday at the church, with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Gerry B. Callahan of Houma; one son, Drew Michael Brunet of Houma; two daughters, Dawn Marie Brunet Duehring and husband, Travis, of Madison, Ala., and Cara Michelle Brunet and fiancé, Chad Joseph Credeur, of Houma; five sisters, Edwina B. Schexnayder of Chauvin, Maxine B. Venuto of Utah, Melanie B. Huber of Montegut, Joan B. Domangue of Chauvin and Wanda B. Martin of Bourg; and twin granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Andrew Brunet Sr. and Louella Guidry Brunet; and his grandparents, John and Edwina Bergeron Brunet and John and Ludovia Lirette Guidry.
He was a salesman for Louis Mohana Furniture and parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
