Cecilia "Sis" Mary Prejeant Roddy

Cecilia "Sis" Mary Prejeant Roddy, 87, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Gray, died at 10:50 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2007. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Bridget Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Noah Louis Roddy of Gray; one son, Wayne Roddy and wife, Charlene, of Lafayette; two daughters, Judy Rodriguez and husband, Anthony "Coonie", of Houma, and Dale Schwierzke and husband, Ray, of Friendswood, Texas; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Prejeant and Laura Gautreaux Prejeant; and one brother, Paul Prejeant. She was self-employed with Launderease for 23 years and a member of Air Stream Club. She was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church
