Louis Jeffries Laque III, 41, a native of Houma and resident of Gray, died at 7:11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Ann Klein Laque; one son, Louis Jeffries Laque IV; one daughter, Reagan Isabella Laque; one stepson, Brian Hugh Klein; four sisters, Tenna Laque Bergeron and husband, Barry, Pamelia Laque Curry and husband, Bill, Shelia Laque Chermie and Deborah Laque Foret and husband, Alden; and his father- and mother-in-law, Bruce and Connie Klein.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Jeffries Laque Jr. and Pamelia Gentry Laque; his paternal grandparents, Louis J. Laque Sr. and Inez Babin Laque; and his maternal grandparents, Homer and Vivian Bevill Gentry.
He was a medically retired attorney and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
