Annette Butitta Dugas, 90, a native of Monroe and resident of Houma, died at 10:55 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2006.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by her husband, Wilson Dugas Sr.; one son, Thomas Edward Moore and wife, Cher, of Houston; two daughters, Anita Moore LaRose and husband, Ellis, of Houma and Linda Moore Cortez and husband, Terry, of Morgan City; one brother, Pete J. Butitta of Monroe; three stepsons, Louis Dugas and wife, Loretta, of Lafayette, Dan Dugas and wife, Monica, of Houma and Glenn Dugas and wife, Glenda, of Bogalusa; three stepdaughters, Laura Richard of Houma, Ida Bergeron of Houma and Carrie Thibodeaux and husband, Timmy, of Houma; eight grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 14 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Antoinette Valentine Butitta; her first husband, William Edward Moore Jr.; her second husband, Robert Blau; three brothers, Thomas and Anthony Butitta and Salvey Butitta; four sisters, Mildred Butitta, Nancy Butitta, Madeline Hegwood and Dell Bielkiewicz; one half-brother, Vincent James Dana; one half-sister, Alice Fusco; and one step-grandchild.
She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, St. Joseph Italian Society and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
