David Anthony Dies, 52, a native of Napoleonville and resident of Houma, died at 6:18 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006.
Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Lee Anne Acosta Dies of Houma; his mother and stepfather, Gladys Barras and Millard Molitor of Houma; his father, James Dies of Napoleonville; three daughters, Amy Dies Tauzin and husband, Zac, and Miranda Louise Dies and Candi Marie Dies of Houma; three brothers, Jimmy Dies and wife, Lisa, Simon Fontenot and Lucas Fontenot of Houma; two sisters, Desi Posey of Batavia, Ohio, and Diane Breaux of Houma; four grandchildren, Alayna Claire Dies, Alexi Jade Tauzin, Zane Michael Tauzin and Anneliese Noelle Tauzin; and his paternal grandmother, Augustine Falcon Dies of Raceland.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Whitney and Louise Barras; and his paternal grandfather, Joseph Dies.
He was a printer for Bazet Printing. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
