Doris Mae Pellegrin Pellegrin, 64, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 11:19 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by one stepson, Hubert "Beady" Pellegrin Jr. and wife, Sheila, of Houma; two stepdaughters, Janice Scott and husband, Alvin, of Houma, and Patsy Brunet and husband, Raleigh, of Montegut; three brothers, Jessie Pellegrin and wife, Rosella, of Dulac, Jim Pellegrin and wife, Wanda, of Houma, and Roy Pellegrin and wife, Peggy, of Florida; four sisters, Janet Pellegrin and husband, Ernest, Barbara Scott and husband, Donald, Diana Cortez and husband, Keith, and Theresa Cortez and husband, Irvin Jr., all of Houma; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Pellegrin Sr.; her parents, Andy Pellegrin and Mary LeBlanc Pellegrin; one sister, Dorothy Lirette; and two step-grandchildren, Keith Trahan and Ross Trahan.
She was a fisherman wife and a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.
