Marshall Adam Dupre, 78, a native of Franklin and resident of Houma, died at 4:55 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Williams Dupre of Houma; three sons, Kenneth Wade Dupre and wife, Penny, Ricky Allen Dupre of Houma, and D. James Dupre of Las Vegas; two daughters, Loretta Ann Trahan and husband, Robin, and Kathleen E. Greve and husband, Dave, of Houma; one brother, Dudley Dupre and wife, Margie, of Franklin; two sisters, Odell Chauvin and Irene Dupre of Franklin; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferdinand J. Dupre and Valerie Bergeron Dupre; three brothers, Amos Dupre, Eugene Dupre and Ferdinand "Slim" Dupre II; and two sisters, Lucille Theriot and Anna Bell Rogers.
He was a retired sheet metal worker with P & S Sales and Service and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a musician with Southern Playboys and Robie’s.
He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
