Lovelace "Bozo" Wilfred Borel Sr., 75, a native of Glenco and resident of Houma, died at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Keith Borel of Houma and Lovelace Borel Jr. of Lafayette; two daughters, Donna Borel and Darlene B. Still of Houma; three brothers, Arthur Borel of Little Rock, Ark., Douglas Borel of Conway, Ark., and Shelton Borel of Kaplan; two sisters, Roberta Winters and Doris Prince of New Iberia; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Thibodaux Borel; his parents, Sidney Borel Sr. and Marie Landry Borel; one son, Kim J. Borel; and one brother, Sidney Borel Jr.
He was a retired deckhand and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
