Evelina "Evelyn" Collins Thibodeaux, 60, a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma, died at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Elgin Thibodeaux of Houma; her mother, Malvina White Collins of Chauvin; one son, Waylon Thibodeaux and wife, Danine, of Houma; two daughters, Twyla Arnaud and husband, David, of Waterford, Wis., and Maxine Bethmann and husband, Matt, of Houston; one brother, Emile Collins Jr. of Houma; two sisters, Mary Poole and Emelda Trahan of Houma; six grandchildren, Robert, Art, Eugenie and Jack Thibodeaux, Jacob and Monica Arnaud; and one great-grandchild, McKayla Thibodeaux.
She was preceded in death by her father, Emile Collins Sr.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church.
