Geraldine Mary Foret Richaud, 69, a native and resident of Houma, died at 11:24 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Eddie L. Richaud III and wife, Lynne, and Parrish J. Richaud and wife, Michelle, of Houma; two daughters, Gerry Ann Romano and husband, Ferrell, and Susan Clause and husband, Lester Jr., of Houma; two brothers, Emile Foret and Roy Foret Sr. of Houma; three sisters, Shirley Rogers, Anna Levron and Melanie Kay of Houma; nine grandchildren, Tony Romano, Mark Romano, Tammy Romano, Shelby Richaud, Claire Richaud, Candace Clause, Jaime Richaud, Eddie Richaud IV and Kasey Richaud; and one great-grandchild, Mallory Romano.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie "Do-Do" Lawrence Richaud Jr.; her parents, Jessie Willard Foret and Hazel Olivier Foret; one granddaughter, January Elizabeth Richaud; one brother, Jessie Foret Jr.; and one sister, Catherine Domangue.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
