Harry Earl Chemin Sr., 67, a native of Iberville Parish and resident of Houma, died at 10:20 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial at Grandview Cemetery in Pasedena, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Nelli Gonzalez Chemin; two sons, Harry Earl Chemin Jr. and wife, Angela, of Phoenix and David Wayne Chemin of New Orleans; one daughter, Allyson Boudousquie and husband, Bret, of Houston; two brothers, V.J. Chemin and wife, Mary, and Kenneth Chemin and wife, Carolyn, of LaPorte, Texas; one sister, Arlene Guerrero and husband, Jake, of Pasedena; four grandchildren, Evan Boudousquie, Emma Boudousquie, Abigail "Abby" Chemin and Trey Chemin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred Chemin and Myrtle Barthel Chemin.
He was a retired engineer for Baker Hughes and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
