Mary Lee Baker DeBlieux, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 12:55 a.m.
Beloved wife of the late Jefferson (Jeff) DeBlieux, III. Daughter of the late Joe M. and Daisy Baker of Bolivar, TN. Mother of Jeff DeBlieux, IV and John DeBlieux both of Houma, LA and Melissa DeBlieux Ward of Spring, TX. Sister of Charles Joe Joe Baker, Wilbur Baker and Cora Jane Baker Moore. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jeff, Corbin, Matthew, Alexande, Kylee, Jacob, Julianne and Colby and son-in-law Scott Ward and daughters-in-law Karen and Monique DeBlieux.
Preceded in death by sisters Elizabeth Sipes, Annie Grace Jernigan and brothers Joseph Daniel Baker and James Allen Baker.
Age 75 years, native of Bolivar, TN and resident of Houma, LA. She was a realtor with Four Star Real Estate and a volunteer with the Terrebonne Council of Aging. She was a wonderful “Maw Maw” and she loved her grandchildren, flowers and garden.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the mass of Christian Burial at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1900 E. Main Street, Houma, LA on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Internment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Chauvin Funeral Home, 5899 Hwy. 311, Houma, LA. on Thursday, August 26, 2010, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and at Holy Rosary Church on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
