Dolly Marie Babin Olivier, 85, a native and resident of Houma, died at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Bridget Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas Olivier Jr. of Larose and Terry Olivier Sr. of Gonzales; two sisters, Rita Rogers and Annie Lovell of Houma; seven grandchildren, Shawn, Mary, Craig, Terry Jr. and Brittany Olivier, Randy and Eric Hood; and three great-grandchildren, Colin Olivier, Tayla Hood and Nicole Trosclair.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Olivier Sr.; her parents, Clovis Babin Sr. and Clara Darcey Babin; three brothers, Clovis Babin Jr., Hubert Babin and Gilbert Babin; and four sisters, Jeanette Babin, Lena Pierce, Dorothy Douglas and Vernita Foret.
She was a retired custodian with Terrebonne Parish School Board with 30 years and was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church.
