Adeline Naquin

Adeline N. Naquin, 80, a native of Montegut, LA and a resident of Bourg, LA died Friday, August 13, 2010. Visitation will be Sunday, August 15, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and Monday, August 16, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until service time at St. Ann Catholic Church. Services will be Monday, August 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Bourg, Louisiana with burial in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery, Pointe-Aux-Chenes, Louisiana. She is survived by her daughter, Lillian Pitre and husband Gerard of Houma; sons, Perry Naquin and companion Mary of Montegut; Danny Naquin Sr., and wife Belita; and Bobby Naquin Sr., and wife Sheila, all of Pointe-Aux-Chenes; Preston Naquin of Houston, Texas and Samuel Naquin Sr., and companion Sheila of Gray, Louisiana; sisters, Wilma Hutchinson of Pointe-Aux-Chenes;16 grandchildren, Chad Naquin, Chantel Danos, Donny and Lance Pitre, Kasie Lirette, Toby, Danny,Jr., Angelle, Michelle, Bobby, Jr., Kimberly Elizabeth Naquin, Jamie Pitre, Samuel, Jr., and Brian Naquin and Ashley Duthu and 24 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Maurice J. Naquin; parents, James and Mary Deroche Neal; brothers, Sidney, James, Herbert, Henry and Paul Neal; sisters, Alice, Laise and Thelma Naquin, Theresa Dufrene, Lucina Matherne and Alexina Neal; and one grandchild, Kelly Naquin. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. She was a member of the VFW Post 3700 and East Park Ladies Auxiliary.
