Travis Jay Ludwig, 25, a native and resident of Houma, died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his parents, Charles Ludwig and Lona Carlos Ludwig of Houma; his companion, Brandi Charpentier of Houma; one daughter, Kiara Ludwig of Houma; two brothers, Alex Ludwig of Houma and Charles Ludwig and wife, Laura, of Edmond, Okla.; one sister, Jessica Helm and husband, John, of Houma; and seven nieces and nephews, Harley Ludwig, Toni Ludwig, Olivia Helm, Charles Lee, Mason Ludwig, Owen Helm and Charles Ludwig Jr.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a plumber apprentice with Kens Plumbing.
He was a loving father, an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing with his nieces and nephews.
He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
