Floyd Joseph Fanguy, 80, a native of Little Caillou and resident of Houma, died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Marina Giroir Fanguy of Houma; two daughters, Robin F. Fabregas and husband, Louis, of Gray and Kayla F. Lambert and husband, Al, of Houma; two brothers, Adley Fanguy of Little Caillou and Raymond Fanguy of Houma; one sister, Rose F. Orgeron of St. Amant; four grandchildren, Jory Fabregas, Brittanie F. Cook, Betsy C. Landry and Paul Lambert; and four great-grandchildren, Meghan, Stevens, Courtney Landry, Madilyn Landry and Dylan Fabregas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Joseph Fanguy and Adele Pellegrin Fanguy; and two brothers, Alma Fanguy and Andrew Fanguy.
He was a retired production foreman for Shell Oil for 40 1/2 years. He was a member of the VFW Post No. 3700 and the American Legion.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
