Kristi Brunet Verrett, 38, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Saturday, July 17, 2010. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her sons, Nicholas Michael Verrett and Nathan Pierre Verrett; daughter, Nichole Michelle Verrett; parents, Michael Anthony Brunet, Sr. and Joan Brunet; brothers, Michael Anthony Brunet, Jr., Corey Joseph Brunet and sister,Kaci Lauren Brunet. She was a Zone manager for Wal Mart. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Kristi's children are her heart. She loved life and was an inspiration to all. A trust fund has been established for Kristi's children. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kristi Leigh Verrett Benefit Fund at Whitney National Bank.
