Christine Jones

Christine Saia Jones, 79, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Sunday, July 11, 2010 at 10:00 PM. Visitation will be Friday, July 16, 2010 from 8:30 to 10:00 AM St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 16, 2010 from 10:00AM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. Survived by her sons, Quentin "Skippy" E. Jones, Jr., and wife Ginger Reeves Jones; and Gregory P. Jones; grandchildren, Quentin E. Jones, III, Elizabeth A. Jones and McKenzie C. Jones; brothers, Vincent P. Saia and wife Mae W. Saia, John L. Saia and wife Helen Saia and one sister, Rita Saia Ayers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luciana Saia and Christine Fazzio Saia and brother, Louis P. Saia, Jr. She was a parishoner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. She volunteered at Terrebonne General Hospital gift shop for more than 20 years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
